Kristen munch - captive resources

Kristen began her career in hospitality as a travel advisor. Currently, she is a meeting planner for a captive insurance firm, where she plans international board meetings held in locations around the globe. With her experience in travel planning and destination knowledge, she has developed a strong passion for all things travel from scoping out the newest luxury hotel to finding the best dirty martini. Some of her most memorable travel moments include hiking in Patagonia, bungee jumping in New Zealand, and enjoying the nightlife in Tel-Aviv. Kristen believes there is nothing better than relaxing in a hotel robe with a glass of wine before dinner.

I realized my dream of traveling the world solo for a year after walking away from my 15-year advertising sales career that spanned from New York to Chicago. What started as one year turned into two, and what started as a passion turned into a career. So far, I visited over 25 countries throughout Europe, Asia, Africa and South America and have no plans to stop! While traveling, I love finding off-the beaten-path restaurants and bars to mix with the locals. My specialization is in Beach & Sun; Food & Wine and LGBTQ travel, both for individual travelers and groups.

Chelsea is an advisor with a love for exploring new destinations and finding unique experiences. This love led her to join the travel industry in 2018, after transitioning from a long acting career. She especially enjoys planning family travel, and now with a child of her own, she's excited to explore the world with her family. Some favorite travel memories are hiking the Inca Trail, seeing a poison dart frog in the Amazon Rainforest, and watching a mama leopard play with her cubs in the Serengeti. Being relatively new to Chicago, Chelsea is excited to get to know and be a part of this city's travel community.
