Join Millennials in Travel in partnership with Viceroy Riviera Maya, Banyan Tree Mayakoba, and Conrad Tulum to discover these gems in the Riviera Maya.  This 6 night program includes two nights at each property, starting at Viceroy Riviera Maya, nestled in the rainforest near Playa Del Carmen.  From Viceroy, you’ll move to the Banyan Tree Mayakoba which is set amidst a tropical landscape of lush mangroves, serene waterways, and pristine coastlines.  Your last two nights will be spent at the sanctuary that is Conrad Tulum. 

Viceroy Riviera Maya is a Beach Front Luxury Villa Resort set on the pure white sand and turquoise waters of the Riviera Maya.  Discover complete relaxation during your nature-filled experience and stay in seclusion in your private standalone villa with your own private plunge pool and outdoor shower. 

Banyan Tree Mayakoba lies in the heart of the Riviera Maya, where local traditions and hospitality meet refined Asian culture.  Offering world-class dining and wellness programs, Banyan Tree is a true sanctuary and an experience that invites relaxation, rejuvenation, and romance. 

Conrad Tulum is a Sanctuary of Wonder on the Coast of the Riviera Maya.  Set among the mangroves, where ancient roots and a commitment to sustainability meet.  The treasures of Tulum are nearby including underground cenotes and historic ruins. 

ITINERARY AT A GLANCE:

On arrival to Cancun International Airport (CUN), you will be transferred to Viceroy Riviera Maya for your first two nights.  You’ll check in to your private villa and will spend the afternoon and following day enjoying the amenities of this stunning resort and getting to know your fellow travel companions.  You’re encouraged to try out the Wayak Spa and experience the Mayan-inspired treatment rooms while you’re here and to enjoy meals at the Coral and La Marea Restaurants.

At the conclusion of two nights at Viceroy, you’ll enjoy your last breakfast and check out for your transfer to Banyan Tree Mayakoba. Upon arrival at Banyan Tree Mayakoba, you’ll check in and again will spend the next two nights experiencing everything the resort has to offer.  You’ll enjoy meals at a variety of different restaurants on site including the Sands Beach Club, Oriente, Cello, Tomahawk, Saffron, La Copa, Burger & Bistro, Sur, the Ember, and Ixchel.  At your leisure, take a guided trip through the canals of Mayakoba to explore nature and wildlife in the mangroves and visit the Banyan Tree Spa to experience Asian wellness philosophy.

Finally, you’ll depart the Banyan Tree for your final two nights at Conrad Tulum.  You’ll check in and relax in Caribbean coastal bliss in your room inspired by the white sand beaches and decorated in natural tones.  Relax in one of the five pools on site, or get out on the water to kayak or snorkel, if you prefer.  The Conrad Tulum also offers 11 dining venues showcasing a global array of flavors for you to experience and the spa is a jungle sanctuary for you to indulge in.  

The final itinerary for this FAM will be provided prior to travel. Advisors are requested to participate in all scheduled activities and to not schedule any outside activities or site inspections during the official FAM dates.  

This FAM opportunity is open to travel advisors who are currently employed and/or actively selling travel and based in North America.

Worried about being away from the office? We recognize that MIT members need to balance heavier than normal workloads while still embracing opportunities to experience new destinations and properties. Rest assured, free time has been scheduled into the daily FAM agenda for time to catch up on emails or embrace some much-needed down time.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS: Participation is $450 for active Millennials in Travel advisor members and is limited to 4 actively selling advisors; no companions. Submission of your application does not guarantee acceptance. Application deadline is May 23, 2024. You will be notified by Millennials in Travel of your FAM acceptance sometime between May 28-31. Selected candidates will be asked to confirm acceptance and submit payment by May 30. Should you be offered a spot and are unable to accept participation due to unapproved absence from work, you may no longer qualify for future FAM opportunities. Should you confirm participation and need to cancel after May 31, you will be charged a $50 cancellation penalty. Please do not confirm any travel plans before being explicitly notified by Millennials in Travel of your acceptance.
