Please join the Millennials in Travel SAN Chapter for a fun day of Pickleball on Thursday, April 23, 2026 from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM at The Aviara Racquet Club at Park Hyatt Aviara.
Located in Carlsbad, California, Park Hyatt Aviara is set on 200 lush private acres along the coast and offers a premier racquet facility at the Aviara Racquet Club, featuring five tennis courts and four pickleball courts. The resort’s stunning setting makes it the perfect place to spend an afternoon outdoors.
The San Diego Chapter of Millennials in Travel is excited to host our second Pickleball Social at the beautiful Park Hyatt Aviara in coastal Carlsbad, California. After the incredible response to last year’s event at the same venue, we’re bringing the community back together for another afternoon of friendly competition and connection.
Whether you’re a seasoned player or completely new to pickleball, this event is designed for everyone. Come out to enjoy a relaxed, social atmosphere while connecting with fellow travel professionals and enthusiasts.
What to expect:
- Site visit with Karina Gaughran, Director of Luxury Accounts for Park Hyatt Aviara
- Instruction with Pro Steve Halverson: Kick things off with a quick lesson from the expert himself and pick up a few tips before hitting the courts.
- Pickleball Play: Participants will rotate through the courts for casual games, giving everyone a chance to play, meet new people, and enjoy the energy of the group.
- Hosted Food & Drinks: Between matches, relax and refuel with delicious hosted food and beverages while taking in the beautiful surroundings of the resort.
Space is limited to 20 attendees and the cost to attend is $15 per person. As a reminder, Millennials in Travel members can use their MIT ID for complimentary access to two events. Visit our website to learn more about MIT membership.
