San Diego Sunset Social at Hotel del Coronado
The Millennials in Travel San Diego Chapter invites you to Hotel del Coronado’s Roast bonfire experience—complete with private fire pits on the sand! Kick off the evening with a site tour from 4:00–5:00 PM, then stay for a sunset social at Roast from 5:00–7:00 PM on Wednesday, September 17, 2025.
Perched along the golden shores of Coronado Island, the Hotel del Coronado is an icon of timeless coastal luxury. First opened in 1888, “The Del” has welcomed generations of travelers with its distinctive red turrets, sweeping ocean views, and rich history. Following a $550 million, six-year restoration, the property now blends its Victorian-era charm with refreshed guestrooms, reimagined event spaces, lush gardens, and new dining experiences including the debut of Nobu Del Coronado. Today, the resort stands as a perfect balance of heritage and modern sophistication, offering an unforgettable setting for gatherings, celebrations, and golden hour memories by the sea.
