Suzanne Shalaby - The resort at pelican hill
Suzanne began her hospitality sales career approx. 10 years ago on the East Coast. Originally from the Midwest and graduated from Miami University of Ohio in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, she moved to Charleston, South Carolina in 2003. She began her career with Kiawah Island Resort as their Special Events Manager. She then entered the world of Travel Industry Sales at Kiawah. She moved to California 5 and half years ago to continue her career representing California based luxury resorts including all of Pebble Beach Resorts and The Resort at Pelican Hill in Newport Beach where she is the Senior Leisure Sales Manager. While she is not working with travel partners from all over the world and being active in the travel industry, she spends her time on the events committee for Working Wardrobes, a charitable organization that assists people with entering into the workforce.

Kate mayer - travcoa
Kate graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a BA in Communication. Before ever leaving the country, she knew early on she wanted to see the world, and a backpacking trip across Europe at 18 helped solidify this. After a career in entertainment instilled a rigorous work ethic, she realized her passion could also be her career, and began working at Travcoa as a Product Specialist in the Operations Department. Originally focusing on escorted group travel in Asia, India and the South Pacific, Kate now works on tours across the globe. Kate is on the board of the Los Angeles chapter of the Association for the Promotion of Tourism to Africa (APTA), is an avid travel and food blogger and has just traveled to her 30th country.

sarah nelson wandry - A World of travel
Sarah began in the industry in 2007 after learning the trade through her family and is a third generation travel agent. As the co-owner of Travel Leaders San Jose, CA & Meza, AZ, Sarah focuses on both leisure and corporate travel. In 2013, Sarah was selected as Travel Agent Magazine's "30 Under 30" travel agents. Her number one goal on her bucket list is to visit all seven continents and is nearly there having been to five thus far with the sixth confirmed for early 2015. Sarah resides in Chandler Arizona with her husband Brad.

Maggie attended the University of Wisconsin - Stout and graduated with a degrees in Hotel, Restaurant & Tourism Management. After a road trip to San Diego with friends, she decided not to return to the Midwest and began working for hotels in the area. Wanting to expand her career, she joined a boutique travel agency in La Jolla specializing in luxury group travel for two years. To diversify her background, Maggie recently began working as a travel manager with Corporate Traveler. With more than 13 countries in her personal travel portfolio, she is excited to continue developing her expertise in the travel industry.

Originally from Mississippi, Reagan attended the University of Colorado before moving to the beaches of Southern California. After three years with a boutique agency, she joined ALTOUR International’s Entertainment team in 2010. That same year, Reagan was voted one of the “Top 30 under 30” travel agents in the country by Travel Agent magazine. She has passionately developed an extraordinary knowledge of hotels and fostered lifelong relationships with vendors. These qualities allow her to provide ALTOUR clients with the best possible experience whether they need a 5-star beach getaway or an entertainment friendly hotel property. Starting as a travel consultant and supporting the VP of Entertainment, Reagan continued to grow her role and was promoted to Entertainment Division Manager in 2011. As of November 2013, Reagan then transitioned to the position of Marketing Manager for ALTOUR Hotel Collection. This new position allows her to strengthen the relationship/partnership between travel agents and luxury hotel brands.

Tyler diehl - Zapdog travel
Tyler started his hospitality career at age 15, welcoming guests as Buddy the Bear at DelGrosso's Amusement Park in Tipton, Pennsylvania. At 16, he started working at the historic Nittany Lion Inn, where he worked his way through school, graduating from Penn State University with a degree in Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Management. Tyler's passion for food took him to Lyon, France, where he studied Culinary Arts at the Paul Bocuse Culinary Institute. After living in both Lyon and Paris, Tyler spent some time in Lahaina, Maui. Over the course of his hotel career, he has worked in various roles in luxury, budget and boutique properties under Marriot, IHG, Starwood and Viceroy. Tyler even had the experience of de-flagging a hotel and transforming a Holiday Inn into an upscale boutique in Los Angeles. Tyler continues his career today as a travel agent for corporate and leisure clients at his own ZapDog Travel, under TravelCorps, Inc. in Beverly Hills, CA. Tyler resides in Los Angeles with his partner Brian and their 4 dogs...yes, 4.

Ally Stoltz - Papua New Guinea Tourism Promotion Authority
With experience living abroad in Costa Rica, Australia, the Amazon Region of Brazil and the UK, Ally brings her intimate knowledge of various cultures to the industry as well as her enthusiasm for the world at large. Ally graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a degree in Business and a minor in Tourism Marketing. After working on cruise ship in the Mediterranean, Ally joined Myriad Marketing in 2010 and has since escorted over 50 trade and media groups to Papua New Guinea, Australia and the Cook Islands. Whether she's introducing journalists to Medicine Man Pa, cajoling agents into climbing an active volcano or coordinating client events in the US—Ally is always up for adventure.
