OFFICER OF development

Nicole Krenzien Ellison - Paul Klein Travel

Nicole has been very fortunate to secure a lifestyle and career in travel with a path well paved by her family. Her grandfather, H. Juergen Krenzien, was the first generation to own Paul Klein Travel and one of the founders of API (now Virtuoso). Her father Timothy J. Krenzien became the second generation to own the agency and is her inspiration to follow in their footsteps. The travel business, as a whole, has been a part of Nicole’s life and is truly in her blood. She has had many great experiences all over the world, but tends to steer towards adventure travel. Nicole’s family and friends always say about her: if there’s a mountain nearby, she’ll probably be climbing it, hiking it, skiing down it, or camping on it. Needless to say, some of her personal favorite places to travel are more active with exotic journeys and sightseeing. One of Nicole’s hobbies in life is food and great wine. Searching the globe for unique experiences with all different types of food and pairing them with amazing local wines is one of her passions.  She steps outside of the box when it comes to exotic food and trying new things.  Nicole also has a craving for bizarre food If it’s local, different, creepy or even a bit funky, she’ll give it a try.

Officer of Communications

Liane mannes - THE GWEN HOTEL

Liane grew up in Connecticut where she began her hospitality career. She always knew she wanted to work in the hospitality industry as a little girl, but never expected she would end up in hotel sales. When the opportunity presented itself to move to Chicago 4 years ago, Liane immediately seized the opportunity and has since fallen in love the Windy City. Liane has represented Omni Chicago, Thompson Chicago and now currently the Director of Travel Industry Sales at The Gwen, A Luxury Collection Hotel. Her passion for the travel industry can be summed up by this quote "Your smile is your logo, your personality is your business card, how you leave others feeling after an experience with you becomes your trademark"
